1985
Between 1971 and 1978, the native of Upper Carinthia gained extensive experience in the fine dining sector in Graz. As the owner of several well-known restaurants (Laufke, Winterbierhaus, Schlossberg, and Rosenhein), he made a name for himself. Returning to Klagenfurt, he managed the Berghof on the Maiernigg Alm until 1983. He then acquired the renowned Hotel Wörthersee in 1982 and served as its manager. there for many years as a top chef.
The Carinthian Spice Pioneer
Then, around 35 years ago, the seasoning pioneer had a groundbreaking idea: Even back then, Strohschein recognized the dangers of allergens and developed his first product, "My Clear Soup" – allergen-free, vegan, and delicious. True to the motto "Naturally good," the family business gradually developed further dry products, which, due to their tolerability, are suitable for all kinds of recipes .
