We have been passionately creating and producing only the best dry goods in Klagenfurt at lake Worth (Wörthersee) since 1985. True to the motto "naturally good" all MAISTO PRODUCTS include purely natural ingredients. These become very complex due to high-quality processes (such as freeze drying) processed into the very end product.
Due to this processing, the cells are not destroyed and the
nutritional values are therefore almost completely preserved.

1985
At the beginning of MAISTRO in 1985, the innovative Carinthian award-winning chef Armin Strohschein was ahead of his time. The passion for first-class soups, sauces and spices was reflected in his first product, “My Clear Soup”.
With the vegan soup broth he reacted early to the emerging dangers of allergens
and laid the foundation for safety in the kitchen.

With impressive passion, the spice pioneer dedicated himself to the further development of numerous MAISTRO products. The restaurateur wasn't just concerned with the exquisite taste of his dry products.
